Copper expanded metal mesh used in transformer
In our recently completed high-voltage transformer laboratory project, copper expanded metal mesh has emerged as the pivotal material for the grounding system due to its exceptional performance, laying a solid foundation for for the laboratory's safety and stable operation.
The grounding system covers a total area of 3000 m2, entirely constructed with C110 copper expanded metal mesh. Renowned for its extremely high electrical conductivity, C110 copper efficiently conducts electrical currents, ensuring the grounding system' reliability in high-voltage environments and providing robust safety protection for precision equipment and testing operations. Furthermore, its superior corrosion resistance enables long-term stability under local climatic conditions, significantly extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.

In the construction design, we specifically recommended dimensions of 2 × 3 m. This dimension not only fulfills the requirement for large-area installation but also effectively minimizes the number of splices and the frequency of welding operations. This consequently saves construction time, enhances installation efficiency, and minimizes potential quality risks associated with welding. Ultimately, this ensures a more stable and safer grounding system.
